MOLB Molecular Analysis Services (MMAS)

The MOLB Core Research Facility was established to provide cutting edge technology for molecular analysis to NMSU researchers. At present, we provide DNA sequencing services using two Li-Cor 4200 Global IR 2 Sequencers and ABI 3100 Genetic Analyzer. We also maintain several multi-user systems such as ABI 7700 Sequence Detector, Molecular Dynamics STORM system, Kodak Electrophoresis Documentation and Analysis system, Tecan GENios, Packard Liquid Scintillation Analyzer, and Perkin Elmer UV/VIS Spectrometer. In the future, we hope to expand our capabilities acquiring new technologies as they become available.
