Tfsitescan is maintained by the Insitute for Transcriptional Informatics.
Tfsitescan identifies potential transcription factor binding sites in a nucleotide sequence and constructs an image map associated with the sequence analysis results. The putative binding sites are derived from a transcription factors database.

There are three parameters which can be set:
| The Promoter Sequence As noted within the Tfsitescan example above, Tfsitescan works best with sequences which are around 500 nucleotides in length. It will not accept sequences with more than 1500 nucleotides. | |||||||||
| Database (2 Choices) There are two choices: 1. Tfsites: includes 7188 entries 2. siteProfiles: includes 322 entries which contain more detail about the specific Tfsite | |||||||||
| Sites Query Parameters There are 7 taxon specific categories
